In line with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), JAFESS is committed to maintaining the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record by participating in the Crossmark initiative.
Crossmark
is a digital verification tool and a standardized service by Crossref that alerts readers to the current status and version history of a published work. To check the status of a published article, click on the Crossmark logo on the article webpage or PDF.
As a transparency mechanism, when changes are required after an article has been published, the following principles are applied:
Corrections: If a significant error is discovered, a formal Correction notice linked to the original article is published.
Retractions: In cases of serious flaws or ethical violations, a formal retraction process is applied.
Withdrawals: If critical issues arise that require an extreme action as stated in the "Corrections, Alerts, and Retractions Policy".
