In compliance with COPE core practices on transparency and research integrity, all submitting authors must declare any financial or operational support received to conduct their research, including the formal name of the funding body and the exact grant/award numbers. Furthermore, authors must explicitly indicate if the funder had any role in the study's design, data collection, analysis, or final decision to publish. If the funder had no such involvement, this independence must be stated. In cases where the study received no financial backing from public, commercial, or institutional sectors, authors must state this clearly to ensure complete disclosure transparency.
JAFESS enforces transparency regarding research funding to protect editorial independence and eliminate hidden conflicts of interest.
Authors who receive grants carrying specific open-access requirements are responsible for ensuring compliance. Because JAFESS is a Diamond Open Access journal funded entirely by its publisher CamEd Business School, it imposes no APCs on authors. Its default publication under the CC BY 4.0 License naturally satisfies immediate open-access funder mandates.
To ensure proper cross-referencing and indexing metadata, every full-text manuscript must feature an explicit funding declaration immediately before the References section and following one of the standard phrasing formats
